Tory and Toby

Torry and Toby are our “Pugs of the Month” because they are two of the most endearing, sweetest little pugs we have ever met and they need to find a forever home together.  As you can imagine, it is harder to find a home for two senior pugs than one.  So, we are shining the spot light on these two sweethearts.  We are hoping a true pug lover out there will see them and realize all they have to offer and open their heart and their home to them.  Torry is 10 and Toby is 9.  They have been together their whole life.  Ideally, we would like them to be able to stay together but to the right homes we might be willing to separate them since they are so agreeable.  However, they both do need to have another pug friend to hang with.

Words can not begin to describe how special these two pugs are.  They will steal your heart the minute you meet them.  They are both very affectionate lap pugs.  They will shower you with pug love and kisses and make you laugh everyday, and snuggle in close to you in bed every night.   We think Torry’s most endearing quality is her gentle temperament and the way she wrinkles up her little pug girl face (kind of like a cat) when she looks at you.  We think Toby’s most endearing quality is bubbly little pug boy personality.  He never lets his wobbly walk slow him down.  He goes full speed ahead, just loving life, grabbing and shaking stuffed toys and following his humans where ever they go.   

Health-wise they both are in pretty good shape.  The Specialist said Toby is not in any pain, he just looks funny when he walks, but he gets around just fine just the way he is.  So, their only long term need is that they both need to be on prescription dog food to keep their urine clear and Toby needs over the counter eye drops you can get at any drug store. 

Please let the spirit of Christmas fill your heart and rescue a pug this holiday season, or in this case two.  So clear off a space on your couch for these two and you will never regret it.  They are young seniors and they have lots and lots and lots of love and life left to give, and they are both every good at it.
